Call For Proposal

We are delighted you are interested to present at the STRONG FAMILIES Conference expert seminar/workshop. We welcome proposals from various categories of professionals, ministers, and family members who wishes to work towards bringing truth, faith, love and joy into the nuclear family.

​As you may already know, the goal of our Call-for-Proposal is to offer professionals, ministers and families the opportunity to participate in:

  • Facilitating the identification of threats against the nuclear family and gaps in its defense, strengthening and protection
  • Raising awareness on the existence of such threats and gaps
  • Increasing knowledge on how to proactively act to defend, strengthen and protect the nuclear family
  • Building consensus on what the threats are, a clearer understanding of the gaps, priority actions, and roadmaps
  • Supporting and facilitating local, national as well as international actions
Scope of Our Engagements

The angle of research you choose to focus on for your presentation with respect to strengthening and protecting the nuclear family and its members, is expected to be in alignment with the selected themes put forward by our committee of scholars and experts. However, based on your interest, you would be free to approach the targeted theme from the following angle:

  • Global in reach and impact
  • Localized in action through National Partnerships
  • Holistic in coverage (with a focus on):
    • Policy advocacy,
    • Institutional strengthening,
    • Direct resource provision for families and personal strengthening
  • A dual top-down and/or bottom-up approach

In addition, we welcome proposals that align with our theme and tracks; while making efforts in attempting local and/or regional contextualization.

Themes and Tracks

Our committee of experts and scholars constituted from our partner academic/research institutions is tasked with the establishment of annual themes and tracks with respect to strengthening and protecting the nuclear family and its members.

The Annual Themes and Tracks selection will be completed by and published during the last quarter of the year preceding the year under consideration. The list will be published here alongside the Call-for-Proposal.

​Timeline

Based on the nature of the targeted conference, theme and tracks considered, the timeline for the Call-for-Proposal will be established for each year in question. It will involve deadlines for:

  • Proposal submission.
  • Proposal decision making, and presenters notification.
  • Registration by accepted presenters and co-presenters.
  • Completion of all changes to presenter names and presentation descriptions.
  • Submission of electronic PDF slide presentations and conference handouts to the coordination team by email.
